ADPRO Advanced Video Analytics Installation and Commissioning

This half day course covers the installation and commissioning best practices for the ADPRO video analytic applications:
IntrusionTrace – For intruder detection in defined areas creating virtual fences
LoiterTrace – For detection of persons Loitering beyond a pre-set time in defined areas running on ADPRO FastTrace 2 or iFT Series hardware platforms.
Course contents
Installation
- Camera selection and positioning
- Scene illumination considerations
- Environmental considerations, rain, shadows, etc.
Commissioning
Setting up single and multiple detection areas
- Analytics calibration
- Setting up logic interactions – e.g. Driving PTZ cameras to pre-set positions on alarm
- Setting up double knock intrusion detection with PRO-E PIRs and IntrusionTrace
- Fine tuning to minimise false alarms
Who is the course for?
Engineers responsible for the installation, configuring and commissioning FastTrace 2 & iFT series units with IntrusionTrace and LoiterTrace Video Analytics.
Prerequisite training requirements for this course
To get the full benefit of this intensive training course, prior training and installation experience on commercial CCTV systems is essential as is IP networking knowledge and successfully completed the accreditation course: ADPRO FastTrace 2 and iFT Series Essentials Plus in the last 2 years.
How is the course taught?
The course is taught mainly through practical work; the Engineers work in pairs on an iFT series unit and associated peripheral devices
What should participants bring with them to the course?
- A laptop computer with either Windows 7, or 10 operating system and Microsoft Internet Explorer V11 or later, the user requires administration rights.
- A terminal screwdriver and a pair of side cutters (not required for those flying to attend this training).
What materials do participants receive?
- The latest set of IntrusionTrace and LoiterTrace electronic documents
- Upon successful completion the participant will receive an electronic course accreditation certificate valid for 2 years. This certificate will be available to download after the course has taken place.
Enrolment information
Courses are normally limited to maximum of 10 participants
Please advise us of any dietary or disability access at the time of booking wherever possible but in any case no later than 3 working days prior to the course commencement.
Courses start at 9.30 AM, with tea & coffee available from 9 AM, and finish after lunch at approximately 1PM, unless otherwise stated.
Payment methods
Course fee payments can be made by credit card or company purchase order. Cleared funds are required in advance of the course commencement date.
Substitutions, transfers and cancellations of existing course reservations
You may substitute another employee from the same company up to one working day prior the course commencement date.
You may transfer to the next available course at no additional cost or cancel with a full refund by giving us a least 10 working days’ notice prior the course commencement date.
In all other cases the course fee is payable and is not refundable.
